i am such a cheapskate when it comes to watching movies. i wasn't always so, until spiderman upped the cost of a movie from near-60 to 80++. everyone knows that watching a movie is never fun without the jumbo popcorn and a large coke (pwera pa ang dinner that came minutes prior to entering the cinema). in short, magastos manood ng sine nowadays.
xty and i've been waiting for war of the worlds to reach sm cinemas. aside from the fact that sm is cheaper, it is easier to get a ride home from there - assuming the movie ends before 11.
so ganun nga - magastos. solution: we went to quiapo and bought a bunch of pirated dvds at 35 per, war of the worlds included. DVD copy daw, sabi ng tindera. mega-promise pa siya and that we could return the disk if this is not so. o, sige. anyway 35 pesos lang naman ang dvd.
when we got home, we immediately inserted the disk and what do you know - malinaw nga siya! DVD copy nga! nagsabi ng totoo ang tindera.
fotah! in russian nga lang, with gudlak-kung-maintindihan-mo-ang-english subtitles. Hay... papanoorin rin pala namin siya sa sinehan. |

ako naman nakapanuod dati ng vcd ni jomari at elizabeth oropesa yung 'sa pusod ng dagat". pirated din, ingles ang salita. hayyy.

yikes! 80 na ang movie? oh no! di na ako makakapanood ng movie sa 'pinas! ang gastos naman!
