| boo-boo |
i blew it this time. i swear, i did. hintayin ko ang memo bukas. pero here's how it happened.
my boss, the president of the company, is expecting foreign guests, and asked me to inquire about hotel rates. i called up discovery, manila hotel, richmonde, and holiday inn and asked about: holiday rates, discounts, promos, and other pertinent chenelyn.
when i got what i needed, i emailed him. tapos tinawag nya ako.
him: what does "good for 1 - 2 persons" mean?
me: it means that rooms can accomodate up to two persons.
him: and the $100 charge is per person, or per room?
me: per room sir.
him: so it's just $50 per person?
me: yes sir.
him: are you sure?
me: yes sir.
him: call them again and clarify. last month i stayed at manila hotel blah blah blah and they just charged me blah blah blah.
me: ok i will.
being the good assistant that i am (naks), i called again to clarify. and i was right all along. the charge is per room, not per head. i called the other hotels and got the same answer.
i put the phone down and before turning around, i grumbled "sabi nang per room eh. ang kulit kasi ni sir eh." i turned around, and surprise!!! si sir nasa likod ko lang pala, listening to the conversation. aguy! gudlak na lang sa akin. *singhot*

hahahahahaha! lesson#1 wag kang basta tumalikod sa boss mo lalo kung may sasabihin kang masama tungkol sa kanya. lesson#2 para di ka pagdudahan ng boss mo humingi ka ng quotation. hehehe! bukas... ngitian mo na lang si balsi ng pinakamtamis mong ngiti at wag na wag kang mag-pa late. :-) gudlak mahanikokom!

hahahhaha, di ka kasi nanunuood ng pinoy comedy movies, nangyari na yan kay dolphy at panchito, at kanila tito, vic and joey. nangyayari pala sa totoong buhay. hehe.

len, ok a, ang galing mo tlga sa pinoy movies. hehe.. "si val! si val!" o "si jun jun! si jun jun!" hehe.

ok lang yan burns. at least, di mo naman sya nabadtrip sa telepono. hehe

ang iniisip ko na nga lang eh di nya narinig. nasa denial mode pa rin ako hanggang ngayon. :)
